That Bush Economy 2

In a new Rovian scheme, Bush has finally tricked the American consumer into believing that more jobs, better pay and more expendable income means a better economy. Despite the best efforts of the media, consumer confidence shot up to to the reading's highest point since 2002.

Thankfully, the AP writer was not fooled and never mentioned Bush in the article. Even better, the writer never used the words "tax cuts," either. Compare this with how often "The Clinton economy" was used when times were good and how often we saw " The Bush economy" when things were at their low point.

Even if the majority of the American people are being fooled by Karl Rove, at least we know that one AP business writer is not.
